Each year the life education van comes to school. Each class from grades prep to six, visits the van. The activities vary with the age group. Hear from grade 2 what it was all about.

Grade 6 students invented words that they thought should be in the Australian dictionary. These words were made into a podcast and placed on the www.youthradio.wordpress.com site. Students from the USA and Spain also added theirs.

Students in grades 5 and 6 are having a competition to make the longest paper chain before Christmas. Listen to the manufacturers, the security guards, the occupational health and safety officer and art director talk about their roles in an entertaining manner.

This is an edited version of our first use of skype to videoconference from Hawkesdale College in Australia to a Korean school near Seoul. Students learnt a lot about each others cultures and this is powerful learning.

Our grade 6 class had a great day exploring Penshurst. Our excursion started at the Volcano Discovery Centre, then moved onto the gardens for lunch and continued into the quarries and craters of Mt Rouse and finally to the peak for wonderful views.
